The only suggestion I can think of that helps me is to use the date option and specific part of the site your post was in (relationships, money, etc.). Then, use descending order.

I have a lot of trouble with the search function on this website. Sometimes I try to find specific threads (even ones I've written) that I remember multiple key words from, and it's impossible. Many times the search function repeats the same found thread over and over with various comments, which is frustrating when you're trying to find something that won't appear and you see the same incorrect thread repeated. Any way to improve this? I don't want to complain because I love this site, but I've encountered this multiple times.
