This, there is nothing left to fight for. The platform is meaningless.

Sanders needs to give on TPP. Both candidates oppose it, and that's enough. Maybe he can get a firmer commitment to the minimum wage.

Please ...... get real! Hillary is not opposed to TPP and will push for it if she is elected with some minor cosmetic changes. Her purported opposition to it was just political expediency.

Your unwillingness to trust or compromise makes you a bad negotiating partner. Same goes for your candidate.

Yes, I don't trust her and neither does the vast majority of the electorate.

Ralph Nader similarly fought for the little guy. He gave us 8 years of Bush and the Iraq war.

How will feel about Sanders when he gives us Trump?

Nader ran as a third party candidate. Sanders is not running as a third party candidate. Big difference.

Sanders is not going to give us Trump.

Hillary and the Democratic Party is going to give us Trump (if we get him, which I doubt we will).

Ignore this thread. More Trumpsters trying to stir up trouble among Dems, because they realize their own candidate is fatally flawed. Classic Trump troll.

So he is not happy with a compromise that has already happened, he wants his way or the highway, am I getting this right?

Agreed. I think there has to be a balance between "allegiance to the party" and "doing what's right" even in election years. And I'd say the weight should always be with "doing what's right." I'd say Sanders is a rare politician who is willing to ruffle a few (powerful) feathers and take risks.

Good for him.

And I do believe that the GOP has nothing to offer anymore. They jumped the shark some time ago, that season with Palin running as VP. Disgraceful. And it's gotten worse. Meaningful debate is happening now among the Democratic party.

We need more politicians willing to go the distance and stick up for everyday folks http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2016/06/28/bernie-sanders-prepared-fight-democratic-national-convention/86478632/
