I close my door whenever people congregate nearby (including to talk to someone in an adjacent office) and it's because I can't focus with all of the chitchat. I don't have a problem with it, I just can't work as effectively with it in the background. I don't slam the door or anything but I do sometimes reach over and give it a push so it makes a noise upon closing. I hadn't thought about it until reading this thread but it's possible that others think I'm being hostile. Just wanted to put this out there that the guy might not intend the message you think he is.

what would be the right way or right words to describe how someone feels about their office desk location.
if there are no other empty spaces to move to and if a person is stuck with that space.. what to do?
The person sitting in the office behind me is making a big deal about me standing or turning around to talk to other coworkers.
my back faces his office.
every time I turn or stand,he responds by kicking his door shut very loudly.
even if I forget his office is there, his reaction makes me aware that he is there and is thinking it is all about him.
I don't want to go and discuss this directly with him. he acts all bossy. many times he does not respond politely.
My perception would be that they don't like their job either and are asking to be fired.

You are still in a passive aggressive mindset. Where is your supervisor in all of this? I would not recommend going to HR.

+1 Notes are for ten year old girls. Talk to your supervisor if you aren't comfortable talking to the office jerk. You need to learn to move on.

He's welcome to keep his door closed at all times. Too bad that other folks have to do their jobs near him.
I would keep the note, and write down when it happened. Then I would go about my business and ignore him. Don't address it or him.
If anything like this happens again, I would raise it to my manager.
