ISIS's strategy is to make people be nervous for everything. Conservatives' strategy is the same. It is exceedingly strange that this poster believes that an attack in Bengladesh could have been stopped by Obama.

This administrations articulated vision of defeating world wide terror - whether here or in Bangladesh - is to fight it with peace, love and understanding, drone or air strikes (more than Bush) , and a few troops in Iraq/Syria that it wont acknowledge as being in combat. It seems completely incoherent to me.

Do you know what sounds incoherent to me? Someone blaming Obama for an attack in Bangladesh. The layers of ignorance required to arrive at such a conclusion are simply astounding.

It is really remarkable to consider what brain functions are required to read about an attack in Bangladesh and then immediately leap to blaming Obama. Let's hope that nobody's July 4th cookouts get rained on -- Obama will be blamed for that as well.

Let's hope we come up with a coherent strategy to combat Islamic extremism in crisis states.

A war on terror can involve propaganda, psy-ops, outreach, stabilizing governmens with a counter message, supporting moderate groups with rhetoric, aid or arms (as we failed to do in Syria and the Green Revolution in Iran). Call it a campaign if you want. Ironically, the only thing this administration is doing is the war part (piecemeal, with bombings from the sky).

A war on terror is absurd. War is terror. For every "terrorist" killed, hundreds more are created. Only in America do people not get that.

Way to make it about yourself. Whoever is responsible for this is killing Muslims in the last 10 days of our holy month, which are specifically a time of earnest prayer and reflection, and commune with God. The day of the siege is also one of the holiest of the last 10 days.

There are very few facts out about this situation because the government had a media blackout during the siege. Friends in the immediate area around the cafe have been giving limited reports based on what they are hearing on the ground. I'm worried about Bangladesh. The government is completely inept and politicians can't look beyond their nose to clean up the radicalized mess that has flourished while they bicker like children.

Be the sheep dog, not the sheep.

Think of how people hover around luggage carousels at baggage arrivals. Sheep

Stand back away from the crowd. Sheep dog

That is the total of the presidents strategy - 'surgical air strikes', and send in troops as advisors and claim they're not in combat. The denial.
