I'm also a patient at CFA and will be going in tomorrow for my 1 week post-IUI blood test. They are testing your progesterone to see if you ovulated and that you have a progesterone level that could potentially support a healthy pregnancy. Unfortunately it does not give any clue as to whether you are pregnant but the good news is that I did not have to pay a copay when I went in for this last month. They told me if it's just a blood test there is no copay, which is great because I have a growing stack of receipts. The one next week is a pregnancy test, but last month I got AF the day of that test so I went in for more bloodwork and an ultrasound to start the whole process over again. Good luck, OP!
