I'd put a small trash bin with a topper in the bathroom and announce it. Also, just leave anything she drops on the floor.

If I liked her and really wanted to be helpful without any confrontation, I might also buy a pack and tell her, "Oops, I bought the wrong thing. They're in the bathroom. Feel free to use them." Or something like that.

We don't talk enough about this kind of stuff. I mean, how many post-partum threads are there with women asking for advice about underwear and bleeding? There's invisibility. So, if you can share, why wouldn't you?

She's leaking urine, so you could approach it as a health issue. In addition to it being a dirty roommate issue.

I would probably ignore it the first couple of times and let her find it lying on the floor and hope that she disposes of it and realizes what she's doing.

If that didn't work, I would just say in an annoyed voice "Larla, you left something laying on the bathroom floor. Could you please take care of that NOW."

I would but her a huge box of liners and give them to her and say that sometimes she leaves the TP on the floor and these might work better.
If that doesn't work, pick the Tp ones up with gloves and leave them in her room.

I had a college roommate who did things like this (she stuffed used tampons in a bag in her bureau, and threw/stashed food garbage everywhere, including dirty used plates and mugs that belonged to me, which she hid and which I would find stuffed in the bottom of the garbage: she tried to throw them away). She ended up dropping out of school for a year to get help for her depression and other issues.

Female roommate age 53 uses toilet paper as panty liners, and it occasionally falls onto the bathroom floor, and I guess she doesn't see it. Sometimes, I just leave it and hope that she will see if but she never does. It is dirty and oftentimes also soaked with urine. Is there a way to approach this without embarrassing her? It makes me disgusted that she won't spend $2 on some panty liners and instead keeps using up the toilet paper and then I have to pick up these nasty things off the floor.
