Not pp, but the referendum was a huge blunder by Cameron. There was no reason for it other than political gamesmanship. Now it has become clear that people had by their own admission no clue what they were voting about.

Well, the most common male baby name in London last year was Mohammad, so they're half way there.

Well, 40% of London still voted to Leave. That's a pretty big minority by most accounts.

No, London would not leave the UK. It's just silly talk by disgruntled people. I don't have a stake in the British referendum and despite being pretty well versed on the EU and its history I still cannot fathom why so many people are pissed off (especially if they are not British) that a sovereign nation collectively decided on a different future than remaining part of the EU. Isn't the whole point of a sovereign nation to govern on the collective will of its people and in this case the collective will of the British voters was to leave the EU.

Life will go on. People will adapt. London is a dynamic city and the UK has a strong history of democracy, stability and one of the most liberal economies in Europe and a highly educated population. They will be fine.
