I had 100 year old doors and trim and locks stripped by the stripping workshop on ny ave. gorgeous. Very expensive. They closed but equipment bought by Chem Strip. Restoring the old I found to be more expensive than new. About double depending on condition. Windows sometimes need to be partially rebuilt if water damage.

Anyone have an idea of cost per window.

They restored our windows; it looks as though they build new doors, don't know if they restore them.

It cost about as much as new windows, but the final product was better, and the old ones didn't end up in a landfill.

Buy new windows, fiberglass is the best

I'm a NP, but I also want to do this. The paint is old and lumpy, so I'd really like to make them nice again- any ideas?
