I often put plants out for the summer. You have to spray them down well with a hose and some soapy water and check the soil too before bringing them back indoors in the fall.

Yes we do this and no we don't have an issue with bugs. We are mostly bringing in our deck potted plants in the winter (not digging up plants out of the ground).

I have a peace lily that I drag out to my screened porch in the summer. I haven't had an issue with bugs, but it doesn't get much exposure to bugs.

I had a roommate wants that did this, because the plants get so much more some night this week. But I worry about bringing back in bugs. Do you have any experience with this?
