Not that weird. And it's a valid concern, even if she expressed it snidely. There are a lot of DC charters who pay a lot of lip service towards attracting a disadvantaged population... who don't really want that.

Guess you didn't go to the same admitted parents we did that showed a group of racially and cultural diverse families.
So diverse families gives the staff a pulpit from which to preach diversity? It's condescending to the families, who are diverse to be spoken to about diversity.
