I use piggy paint basically as a bribe - so she gets one fingernail painted if she stays in her bed all night or she picks a short sleeved shirt instead of a long sleeved shirt. It works, it's not toxic, it usually peels off in a day, I really don't care if people think we're trashy or not

Pp here, yes, buy piggy paint. It comes off so easily, it is never on for longer than a day.

Yes. My mom mever taught me anything about nail polish, makeup, clothes, hair, etc, and I went from awkward and made fun all through school of to a confident 17 year old.

I let my 2 year old have painted toes a few times during the summer. She sees me do it so I have no reason to tell her no. I buy the ridiculously expensive non-toxic stuff for her.

Actually my 3 year old DD was begging me too and she chewed her nails constantly. I told her it she stopped chewing her nails I'd let her paint them. She quit in like two days and has never chewed them since. I let her pick out a light pink color with a little bit of glitter(you could barely see it.) and she loved it.

3 year daughter is begging me to paint her nails. I think a lot of her friends at preschool are wearing it. I think it looks tacky, but starting to think this is a battle not worth fighting.
