End of the year for kindergarten should be at least a 3 or 6 (they changed the requirement at some time. The DRA is their reading level. End of first grade is 18 (1- stands for year, 8th month, so 28 is end of second). There is probably a letter identification count, a letter sound count, a sight word count, and a dictation score. The dictation score will have two numbers written as a ratio. One will be number of words spelled correctly over total possible. The second will be number of sound correct over number possible. So writing the word cat as kat would be incorrect for spelling, but correct for the three sounds. HTH

Thank you!! Very helpful!!

We are new to this... our oldest is in Kindergarten and just came home with the end of year "K-2 Comprehensive Reading/Language Arts Data System" Report. I remember reviewing the initial assessments at the beginning of the year and these are very clearly improvements, but I'm just trying to see where these scores are within ranges for grade level. Is there some sort of website or scores someone could point me to? I've searched for this information on PGCPS website but am not coming up with a lot of info.
