Can I be honest with you? The arch is...not good. We took our three kids, ages 9, 8, and 6. It is VERY claustrophobic, so if anyone has claustrophobic tendencies, skip going inside. We all just sat in that tiny little car and made jokes to pretend it wasn't freaking horrible, and after it was over, we all talked about how freaked out we all were.

Grew up there, but never went to the City Museum which I head is a "must do" with kids. Apparently, it's awesome and I'm surprised I never went there.

Also go to a Cardinal game if they're in town during your visit... That's what the city is all about April - October.

Taking a quick family trip for the weekend and wanted to show the kids the sights. Other than the arch and the City Museum, are there things that the kids would like to see? Also are there any iconic places to eat that we shouldn't miss? We'll be staying out in Webster Groves but will be going into the city.
