That Sarah lady is completely crazy. What the hell is her deal?

Is she retired and independently wealthy so she has time to just insert herself into other people's businesses and start bossing the staff around (not being on staff herself). That was so strange.

Ok, there was no actual pooping on the floor. But there were boiled burgers and lots of other weird/gross things.

Sounds like her son clued in and is taking a more active role.

I kind of was thinking that she and Sarah, the woman that hung around and volunteered, were dating?

You could tell just by looking at the lady's eyes she wasn't all there. Commonly referred to as a LOON.

I totally agree that they won't be able to maintain it, and I can't imagine why you would share the floor pooping story, although she seemed pretty calm about it. There was a viewing party at a neighboring bar, and it's a small town -- I can't imagine my neighbors knowing something like that about me.

Yeah...obviously disgusting, but what kind of a person is that woman who was like, "Hey, since there are TV cameras rolling, let's talk about how you pooped on the floor that time."

Agree that they will never be able to maintain it.

I am still recovering from the section about pooping on the floor.

I saw it! I can't wait to see the second half.

My friend ate there. She got the pot pie and said the biscuit on top had freezer burn and she complained. The cook looked shocked. Now we know why! (Her friend saw Gordon filming the show--he was walking in and out repeatedly while they re-did the takes).

I think it's usually only one part episodes, and yes -- this one deserves the two parts. I followed the Amy's Kitchen fiasco (their FB page should be a case study for marketing students), and this one seems as bad but without the insane personalities. Or maybe a different brand of insanity. I know I've walked by the Inn before and thought of stopping for lunch, and based on episode one, they kept their freezers and refrigerators in the alley between their buildings, and use five microwaves all jerry rigged together to cook things? It was CRAZY. I am alternately terrified and really anticipating tomorrow night's episode.

Does he usually do two part episodes? I have never watched Hotel Hell but I watched kitchen nightmares and it was always one and done- even for that ridiculous Amy's Kitchen.

So if he split it up into a two parter- YEAH, it must be bad!!

Crazy that it was so close to home!

I don't usually watch Hotel Hell, but last week's part one episode featuring the Town's Inn in Harpers Ferry was unbelievably horrific and yet entertaining! I go to Harpers Ferry once or twice every summer, and I've walked by the place but never stopped - and based on the show, I'm glad I haven't as of yet! It really was embarrassingly bad. The owner seems like a hoarder and not cut out for the hospitality industry.

The part two of the episode is Tuesday night and I can't wait! Did anyone else watch this train wreck so far? Has anyone tried the Inn or the restaurant since Gordon Ramsey was there?
