Married someone 6 years younger than me. He was late 20s and I was in my 30s when we met/married. No issues, and it's been 17 years. I was married before to someone about a year older than me who treated me like dirt, so I am pretty happy.
And TBH, we probably look the same age, so I'm not worried.

He's 40 and I'm 44. Neither of us are exactly 21...but no worries. He still grabs my ass every time I walk by.

My DH is 4 years younger. No issues except his music taste is horrible.

^^PP here. I'm now 50 and have been married 20 years.

DH is 3.5 years younger than me. It's never been an issue. Once you hit 25 it shouldn't be. My mother and grandmother (who died when she was 104), my great grandmother (who died at 98) and my great great grandmother (who died at 103) have all outlived 2 DHs. I'm the only one that married younger because I really don't want a second DH. Too much work breaking them in.

I worry about this with my sister. She is 29 and dating a guy who is 27. She wants to have kids, and the one time I asked her whether he did or not she said he did as long as it did not affect his career. I'm not sure what that means, but she's a doctor so her career will be important too.

DH is 2.5 years younger than me. We were older when we met (35-ish), so readiness for marriage wasn't an issue. The only time it comes up is when there's a song on that I remember from college, that is a high school memory for me. Then I feel old, lol.

I don't mean 10+ years younger. More like 2-3 years younger than you.

How does your dynamic work? Did the age difference bother you? What did it mean regarding the engagement, marriage, kids timeline? Did he take longer because he was younger?
