For dinner and stuff not that often but just hanging out probably once a week. We have a pretty friendly neighborhood where everyone hangs outside this one house. So if I feel like being friendly we go down there and let DD run wild with all the other neighborhood kids.

Now that its pool season? Almost every day. When its cold out, 1-2x a week. We are very social.

We also attend synagogue every week and see friends there and host Shabbat lunch or eat by a friend weekly. There are also school/synagogue/neighborhood events all the time.

Probably once a month. Everyone is busy. We have a lot of home improvement projects going on during the weekends plus the usual errands, grocery shopping etc. we also see grandparents frequently.

At least 3 times a week we will go to events at our local mosque. There are always tons of families there.

Not including birthday parties probably once every 4-6 weeks or so, although more frequent during the summer (spray parks and what not). Summer wise we're around once every week or two.

We usually do a 3-5 day trip with other families (many different, between 1-5 families at a time) at least once a month and otherwise meet up about once or twice a week. We see our childless friends much more often, but don't travel with them as much.

At least one. Sometimes it is dinner out or play date at a home with just 1 other family. Other times it is a group of 2-5 families.

This weekend we went fishing with 2 families and then also met up at the pool with 2 other families. Next weekend, we are hosting a bbq and also attending another bbq. Following weekend we have a birthday party where we will see many of the same families.

This is pretty much exactly us (maybe we're part of the same group?) Kids are mostly under 5 in the neighbor crew.

We have lived in the area for a very long time though and I have a close circle of friends from pre-kids that have moved on to have relatively same-age kids. If it weren't for this circle, we would absolutely have less plans.

We do about once a month.

But, we're somewhat introverted, and the kids are in some sports, so that takes up some time.

Once a month would be considered pretty good for us. I do wish it were more frequent, but there always seems to be something that fills up our calendar -- family visits, activities, birthday parties, etc.

We have neighbors/friends that do things together all the time and get together with the kids for dinners at least once a week. That is just to our personality. I think we are more introverted. We like seeing people but don't want to hang out all the time. We like our quiet and family time.

Still some weeks we have multiple events a weekend and other weeks nothing.

This weekend got me thinking since my friend's family had so many get togethers with other familles, and they usually get together with others at least once a week. For us, we probably only get together with others once a month or so. Just wondering if others out there are spending a lot of time with other families/friends.
