It's very comfortable! I called the company directly to ask a question and the owner (nicest guy!) gave me a code to make it slightly less expensive than the Amazon price so I'd be sure to get their new quilting pattern that made it softer.

That is one nice mattress. do you put a waterproof cover over it? I am wondering because I would think it would rot pretty fast from any accidents/illness type events otherwise.

I just posted this on another thread about twin mattresses. I recommend it.

Look at Ikea - they have a range of quality and most if not all are almost- chemical free.

They have a sale this weekend for 15% off. They don't have sales terribly often either.

We got this mattress for our daughter two years ago and are very happy with it. Absolutely no smell at all.

We got one from Land of Nod. It was frigging expensive, but it didn't offgast. It's also pretty comfortable.

We did a Costco mattress and it was fine. BJ's also has them reasonably priced (150 and 100).

We bought an organic futon, found the company online. It's really comfortable (layers of foam and cotton inside).

We just purchased a lull mattress on line and have been very happy. Made in the US; free shipping; arrives in a box the size of a dorm fridge. We paid $700 for a full size. lull.com

This is for my three year old's big girl bed. Her grandparents have graciously offered to refinish and paint DH's old bed and we have some fun ideas but I need to buy a regular twin mattress (and possibly foundation) to go with it. We'd like something relatively firm that won't off gas but something like naturpedic is out of our price range (need to stay under $400, preferably well under that). Any suggestions?
