Chester and Scaredy Squirrel are always well received. My DC also liked when I read books that were a special favorite of theirs.

I found myself in the position of being the reader at my daughter's school TOMORROW to cover for someone who won't be able to be there. Any suggestions? It has to be something that I can read in 20 minutes (actually some readers bring two books) but still appropriate for 2nd graders. Suggestions?
