Yes I seriously date. No I don't invite my bf or whoever I'm dating at the time to come meet my parents. That's reserved for special people If I have been dating someone for 6 months, usually that's when meeting parents comes up.

In fact, My last BF just dumped me because he was ready to get married now and I'm not. He wants kids ASAP. I like my freedom. I don't have a problem being faithful but I don't want to start popping out kids anytime soon.

29 and don't know a single person my age who is living at home. We all moved to DC at 22 and lived with roommates until we got married or got better jobs. But yeah, no one is having kids. Who can afford them?

Eh I'm 30. Had some friends who still lived at home until their mid 20s. They all dated. Most moved out when they got a serious bf or by the time they were 26/27 and more established. Don't have any friends still living with their parents at 30. Do have a friend who is 28 and does, but she is also VERY sheltered, doesn't really date, etc.

Im married and have a baby but I'm almost the odd one out in terms of those of us who have kids (who were planned). At 30, many of my friends are just getting married.

As a middle class European living in a capital city, I lived at home and commuted to my university, which was in the same city. All my friends did the same.

Then we graduated, I moved to the US to go to grad school, but my friends continued to live at home to continue their studies.

As soon as they got married, they got their own place and started having kids.

This is how a lot of people do it in developed countries. Most kids in Europe in share bedrooms too, the horror!

As long as its LEGAL immigration.

A percentage probably have kids later on-in 30s like many of us and even 40s like some of us. I don't think most are having kids while living with mom and dad.
