If you've gained some weight and are bloated that could explain it. Fibroids could also explain it. Even if you were pregnant you wouldn't have a bump this early anyway so it has to be bloating of some type.

I was wondering this. My mom had fibroids.

One of my friend had fibroids and looked 4 months pregnant. I'm not sure what symptoms, if any, she had. She is thin so the "bump" may have been more apparent on her frame.

Ok. I'm not sure I ovulate regularly but think I did this cycle. Perhaps I'm just not used to the rise in progesterone. I've noticed sore boobs which I know is also a sign of rising progesterone.

If we assume you are not pregnant, and you have no other symptoms (eg pain, bleeding), I'd give it a few more weeks and then call your doctor for some tests. Blood, maybe an ultrasound.

I'm writing for any ideas as to what this could be. Why would I be forming a slight baby bump halfway through my cycle?

I'm developing this baby bump but had my period 2.5 weeks ago. It seemed like a normal period. I was super late that month and didn't get it until day 40 or so which is unusual for me. The doctor did a pregnancy blood test which came back normal. In other words I'm not pregnant. Could this be fibroids or perhaps a result of IVF I had a few months ago? I last had an ultrasound around 2.5 months ago. I've also been more tired and I've gained a little weight when my weight typically stays the same.

Additionally, I've had the normal ovulation signs this month and my cervical mucous makes me think I ovulated. No, I'm not temping.

Any advice is welcome
