Sanders may try and encourage them to vote for her after she gets the nomination but I seriously doubt there will be many who agree with him. If she wants their support, she will have to earn it and what they will expect from her will vary between different supporters. Saying the alternative is Trump will not sell with them.
I think the Sanders supporters who don't vote for Hillary will end up voting for the Green Party or will just sit out the election.
If the general ends up being a close election, she is going to need the Sanders supporters to "come home" and she is some ways off from getting them to do so.
