Try REmifemin (over the counter, clinically tested, recommended by many good OB/GYNs). It's high quality black cohash. A miracle for me after just a few days. I've recommended it to many friends and they are amazed, no hot flashes! Don't try other brands because this is lab tested.

From the University of Maryland:

"Soy isoflavones may help reduce hot flashes and night sweats that many women have during menopause. In clinical studies, postmenopausal women who eat high amounts of dietary soy protein (20 to 60 g per day) generally have fewer and less intense hot flashes and night sweats than those who eat less soy.

Results of studies about whether soy supplements reduce menopausal symptoms have been mixed. In several studies, women who took the placebo also had fewer menopausal symptoms."

Yes, but these soy eating ladies may also be more likely to drink green tea than black coffee, or a glass of water instead of a glass of wine. If the non-soy ladies are doing those other things, the effects are going to be worse for them. There are many components to a diet to be considered when it comes to the positive and negative effects of certain foods. They cannot be judged in isolation.

This has been debunked many times over. It turns out that plant estrogens have absolutely no effect on humans. That's why the soy milk makers can no longer say their product relieves menopause symptoms. It doesn't, no matter how much you eat or drink.

Or do you have to eat so much it's not worth it to get the effects of the estrogen?
