You know what - small children/pregnant - and it was Mother's Day which can just do weird emotional stuff. At least she asked - in her way - for a second opinion and when given advice she acted sanely. Sometimes, we all get so turned around we forget when we are being unreasonable.

No. He's made it clear he doesn't want to talk about it. I assume OP has already Apologized. Now she should respect his wishes.

Stop bringing it up. He said he wanted to talk about it. Also nothing is worse than when the person who behaved poorly continues to make it about them because they feel bad. My mom did this and I always remember thinking..."wait, why am I trying to make you feel better? It should be the other say around ". Right now he wants to act like it didn't happen. So put on a fake smile and move on. When and if he's ready to talk About it, be ready. But he might just need some time alone to just get over it.

Also, tbank you for not blaming it on your pregnancy.

I behaved badly - reacted in a childish way to a situation involving his mother and he was embarrassed. I wa sin the wrong, but now the situation is over and a day later he's giving me the silent treatment. Says he doesn't want to talk about it. He had preexisting plans with a friend tonight so he just got home and is downstairs. He just told me he does t want to talk. I feel awful but don't know how to fix this. We have two little kids and I'm pregnant and I feel helpless.
