This is good advice. Keep everything absolutely positive. All the way along the line, including interviews. Everything is a learning experience, after all. (no pun intended)

Middle school teacher here. I am applying for new schools and interested in teaching HS. I have taught middle for 4 years but am also licensed for HS. When I write cover letters, should I address this and why I am potentially interested? Or leave that out and wait for possible interview? Unsure what is most effective.

Only if you can say it in a positive way

Hi,

Middle school teacher here. I am applying for new schools and interested in teaching HS. I have taught middle for 4 years but am also licensed for HS. When I write cover letters, should I address this and why I am potentially interested? Or leave that out and wait for possible interview? Unsure what is most effective.
