Around 2k, put it on a credit card then paid it off that month (dipped into savings).

Mine was I think around 3k. DH financed it bc we were 2 yrs out of college and had no money to save. A few months we were married and used our joint income to pay off debts, including the ring.

15k cash savings.

Buy the ring you can afford. Credit cards or parental help is the craziest!

I agree. The ring was about $5K. I charged it, but I always pay off my credit card at the end of the month.
