I have really low T levels, which was causing a lot of problems in conjunction with some other medical issues. Within a week of being on it, I noticed immediate improvements in my mood and libido. If your wife has had a complete hysterectomy where her ovaries were removed or problems with her adrenal system, low T is a common side effect. So far, it isn't FDA approved (which is bullshit if you ask me), but I've never had issues with insurance covering it.
Did it affect your weight or body composition?
How did it affect your libido?
I've been athletic my entire life and was in shape when I started taking it-- didn't notice a difference in my physique but I'm on a low dose. I have put on a couple pounds since (less than 5). I suspect this may be due more to the other medical issues I'm dealing with that have changed how I can work out and I'm not at all bothered by it.
My libido increased dramatically almost right away.
To the OP who asked how long I've been on it, ~ 9 months I think.

At least that's the first thing that came to mind when I read this post.
Could be I'm biased because of my own personal marital issues.

Dangerous with many long term side effects, shouldn't be prescribed.

OP here. No its not. Its prescribed for various off label reasons such as sex drive or bone density issues. And as far as I know, there are no long term studies regarding its safety. I don't know why her doc prescribed it.
