Aidah will be read as Aidan when you handwrite out the name unless you are very careful with the H.

Agree completely. Ada is lovely; Aidah looks...kinda trashy.

"Ada" is the most common, traditional spelling. THIS is the "elegant" choice you want.

"Aidah" is the opposite of elegant.

I wanted something a little more elegant, but DH loved the name Ada.
