You can't go wrong with American Holly (Ilex opaca). They grow from 15-50 feet, are native, deer resistant, grow in full sun or shade, and are evergreen.

There are many sizes and cultivars of Arborvitae that might work for you op. They are evergreen like the L.C. but many are narrower.
+1. How big do you want? Green Giants are aptly named and will get huge. If you want something smaller and lower, but that will provide thick screen, what about ligustrum? Also agree that holly is pretty.
