I loved Glenn Dale. The only reason my kids aren't still there is because they got into CMIT last school year.

OP: We received an offer from CMIT. We were 172 after original drawing. Still planning to take a tour of Glenn Dale elementary. Not sure if CMIT is worth the drive.

PP here. 14 is a great number much better then my daughter's 59. There is a huge possibility your child will get in. The numbers have gone down a lot in the past few weeks. What was your original wait list number? My daughter's original number was 258.

What's your number at CMIT if you don't mind me asking?

Glenn dale elementary is a pretty good school. I've heard some good things about test scores and such. My elementary school (I'm a teacher) is in the same area and we are often compared to Glenn Dale & other schools due to them having much less FARMS students.

Does anyone have insight/experience with Glenn Dale Elementary? My child is starting K in the fall. We're also getting pretty low on the wait list for CMIT. Now debating between Glenn Dale Elem (close to home), St. Pius (close to home but $$$) or CMIT (longer commute, but free). Thanks for any info.
