Tilghman Island Inn or something like that, it's about 20 minutes on the other side of St. Michael's. Great views and tub and food.

The DE beaches are 3 hours (2 hours and 45min to be exact) and Shenandoah is 2 hours.

Chincoteague Island overlooking the channel front (lighthouse) or backside (sunset over the channel) of the island, many hotels, B&Bs and rentals to choose from. Check on kid friendliness.
Big Meadows lodge rooms valley view side.
Belle Meade B&B (on the way to White Oak Canyon)

Skyland is nice but REALLY rustic. Definitely not a nice bathtub type place.

Looking to getaway for a few days. Can anyone recommend a hotel with a great view right from the room, with a private balcony? Need some nature and peace.

2-3 hour drive max from DC. Doesn't have to be super luxurious, but clean, and a nice bathtub would be great. Thank you.
