Do you have snack suggestions based on weather too?

Seriously there is a lot of standing around in baseball at the younger ages and very little activity for a lot of the kids.

Kids don't need a f'ing snack every 40 minutes. I hope this trend dies soon.

AGREE! And all the kids say "when is or what is snack?" They associate rewards with food.

I am so glad this trend dies by 3rd grade. DS 11 plays baseball - no snacks since AA!! Thank goodness. I understand you still have to do it, so bring individually wrapped items. I used to buy the precut and sealed apple slices and orange slices. By 2nd grade, they start demanding "fun" snacks like chips - so beware.

I have never seen anyone bring a snack that was touched by them. Everything is individually wrapped.

Time-intensive but healthy: grapes and tangerine segments in a plastic baggie.

I don't know if this qualifies as healthy, but we are bringing organic, real fruit juice Popsicles.
