From Somerset, easily 30-40 minutes for the evening practices which start at 6-7. Hope that you can carpool!

You don't mention the age of your kids, but from what you describe, I would suggest MSI. They have levels appropriate for everyone, and until you get to their top travel teams, practices are usually local.

Brand new to the area and I know we are coming right up against try outs for the fall
We contacted Bethesda Soccer Club but were shocked at how far the kids go to practice and that the kids are from all over the county (we were also hoping it would be a way for the kids to make friends in the area).
Are there other options? I have 3 kids that are all pretty decent but we're not really sports crazy, the kids just want to play.
