They were rejected from two of the most popular Catholic schools in PG county, and Suitland is an audition-only program if you are not in-bounds. Do some research before your attacks. (NOT the OP).

I understand but I have NEVER heard of someone being rejected from 3 local schools, private or not. That just seems weird

Well, from the question on whether the school required an entrance test, it's possible the the kid doesn't do well on placement exams.

Palloti does have an entrance exam through the Archdiocese of Washington. Check the school website, under admissions process.

Also check Riverdale Baptist- I bet they may still have space as well.

No entrance exam requirements from what I recall.

Thank you for the responses. Do you need to take an entrance exam to get in?

I was also going to suggest Palloti.

Perhaps Pallotti in Laurel. (Also Catholic.)

My friend's child applied for placement at McNamara and Elizabeth Seton and was not accepted. Just found out they were not accepted at Suitland either. Do they have any options other than the neighborhood schools of Frederick Douglas or Largo High School at this late date?
