It was an a relatively easy outpatient procedure. They do it under twilight anesthesia. I was completely out and don't remember the procedure itself. I recovered for about an hour and then was on the couch eating soup about 2 hours after the procedure. Worked from home the next day, but I could have gone in if I needed to. I had some bleeding and cramping, so it was nice to be home.
My RE advised me that an OBGYN can do it, but since I was getting the infertility workup, I preferred to stick with SG. I figure they do those kinds of things all the time.
