Sounds exhausting to have a person focused on you that intently.

Don't get me wrong. I like when my wife thinks I'm pretty cool and looks for ways to make me happy. But a little goes a long way with that sort of thing.

I want to pamper/treat/spoil him. I'm ready to completely devote my life to him. If he wanted to move, I'd move with him. I'd make any life choices based on what he wants. Is this what a man wants? Do you think he appreciates it or is scared of it?

You'd do all that without even being married to your boyfriend? Low self esteem much?

I hope you have mastered the important skill of pretending to listen to all her constant blah blah blah yadda yadda yadda and then continuing to go about your business.

I don't need her to worship all of me all the time.

Just one specific part of me... on a regular basis... call it three or four times a week...

My H needs to be "worshiped" and eventually had an affair. After lots (but not enough) therapy we have found out this need for an ego stoke is a sign of something much, much bigger and not healthy.

Ends up he as SERIOUS mental issues that he is trying to resolve ... it will take years of therapy.

If you meet a guy that wants to be worshiped.... RUN!

Needing to be worshiped is a sign of an inferiority complex and a lack of self-confidence. I'd like to think that most women would find that a turn-off.

And for all of those things, and many others, I love her.

It was eye opening to me to learn my boyfriend-now-husband wanted me to be strong and have opinions. My prior boyfriend wanted the worship thing, wanted to make all decisions, etc.

My husband really pushed me to do it myself. He actually held himself back from getting serious with me until he saw me doing that. I wound up moving across the country from him, and a year later he followed, but he said that was when he knew he wanted to marry me.

Watching RHOBH and Yolanda Foster would absolutely worship David Foster. Granted, he does have a huge ego and God like complex. But I commented on that to my boyfriend and he joked "as she should."
