I second IKEA

Ikea make round tables in white plastic with matching chairs. Very modern, very Los Angeles kitchen. Excellent for kids and not too expensive.

I would avoid the perspex chairs - finger print city.

I was on the other chain about quartz vs. wood, but I would love peoples opinions about a modern but not too modern kitchen table that fits about 4 for my new house. My kitchen is traditional so I woul dlike to brighten it up with a more modern piece but I have a 3 year old and newborn so want it to be super easy to handle. I was thinking about a quartz table at Room and Board with wood, but when I total the price with chairs and barstools it is 5K. That seems like a lot... suggestions? thanks
