---- In 2015, only 10 out of ~460 students got accepted in each of the following ivy universities ?.. I can bet, most of the 10 students who probably got accepted are same one's ---
Columbia University 10
Massachusetts Institute of Technology 10
Yale University 10
University of California, Los Angeles 10
--- and more than half of the class of 2019 applied for in-state universities ---
University of Virginia 191
College of William and Mary 181
Virginia Tech 155
Virginia Commonwealth University 84
--------
not much different from 2014, https://www.tjhsst.edu/abouttj/schoolprofile/docs/2014-15TJHSST%20Profile.pdf
So, is TJ just any high school, just to brag about by parents ?
=======
Are there similar statistics available for other high schools in FCPS ?

Are you kidding me? 17- Berkley, 26- UNC Chapel Hill, 29- Cornell, 16- U. Of Chicago, 17- Duke...the list goes on and on, and you think that a base school can even compare?
The article did not list the schools that accepted number less than 10. They are top top schools such as Harvard, Stanford, Princeton, just names a few.

We couldn't afford out of state and are not interested in her burdening herself with loans for that. Out in-state schools are great.
College has gotten prohibitively expensive and people aren't going to really apply where they cannot afford to pay.
