Subject: Breaking up with Contractor
I can see why he wouldn't want to sand floors when there's painting going on (dust would get into the paint). But three weeks to sand is crazy. It had my whole house done in 5 days.

Definitely time to let him go. Look carefully at your contract for guidance on money that has to be paid for whatever work he has done thus far. Hopefully you can get someone lined up soon to finish the job.
