If I had the chance for a 3rd I would do it. But I was already 36 when I had my 7yr old and I didn't want to be some old hag when they were in high school. So I regret not having more earlier but I don't regret not having one when I was older.
I think many kids are spoiled and coddled because Moms only have 1 or 2 and devote way too much time controlling them. I think larger families have kids with more manners, less needy and much more adaptable. I see it as a positive.

I've seen several families completely unravelled by the arrival of the #3. Sometimes that child is treated like the reincarnation of christ and that really isn't fair on the other kids.
Other times the child is literally the reincarnation of the devil and that's not fair on ANYONE.

No regrets. Life is really great now and we have plenty of challenges with the two to keep us busy. They both play sports and sometimes the games overlap. I like that Dh and I can split and attend the games and if there were a third it wouldn't be able to happen all the time. Traveling is easy (hotel room with 2 twin beds).
