If you are having it done now WISC V is what they want but they will still take a WISC-IV if you had it done in the past.

This was not the experience of DCUM posters in past years. It seems "appeals season" causes longer times to get testing appointments as well as reports. Simply scores, of course, can be given the same day as the test. But the detailed narrative report is also needed.

You will likely need to allow time for scheduling the appointment, then have the testing, and then allow time for the report to be written. Depending upon the tester, this process can take as little as three weeks, or as long as six weeks.

Hi, I wanted to check how/where to do the WISC test in case we decide to appeal (in case we are not accepted)? I just wanted to sort of prepare and know where to go as soon as we know the answer and decide to appeal. Just to have some plan of action in mind. I googled WISC, but it mainly sends me to the sites where the prep for it. I am looking for where to actually schedule and do the test?
