This is a few years back, but, my DS told everyone he "didn't like" math before he attended the HGC. At the HGC, during the 4th grade he
went from what was then considered one year ahead to two years ahead but he still "didn't like" math. So when they asked if he could be moved
to three years ahead, we said no. He has held that against us ever since and will be graduating from the Blair magnet in 2017.
