Not op, but running and squats only build the front of my thighs, they don't help with the outer thighs. For that, I find good old fashioned side leg lifts to be the most beneficial.

The answer is you can't choose where you lose fat from through spot training. The only way to slim one area is to lose weight overall. Sure you can build muscle in those areas but that won't make you lose fat there.

Run and eat less (carbs and sugar). No other way. Squats will help tone. Hips and thighs are my problem areas.
