Subject: How do you room with 2 kids under 10 yrs old on a cruise with your spouse?
It's a Disney cruise. I'm sure they have room to accommodate. Otherwise you get adjoining rooms. If not possible you get two rooms and put one adult/one child per room.

We always get adjoining rooms or a suite for our sanity. We cannot all sleep together. Plus, DH and I want our alone time.

Op, I've done the Disney cruise several times with my two kids in the room. They love the bunk beds. Yes, there's a dividing curtain. But let's be real- it's a cruise so the rooms are not big. If you are already worried about this, pay for adjoining rooms or don't go. Seriously. I love the cruise but it sounds like one room won't work for you.

If you're this worked up just thinking about it, a cruise probably isn't a good fit for you.
We are a family of six, so we have to get two cabins. As PPs have said, you are only in your room to shower and sleep.
The only people I know who haven't enjoyed the disney cruise are people who hate sharing rooms with their kids. These are people who only rent condos or two room suites because they are incapable of sharing a room with their kids. I don't get it.

We did a Disney cruise last summer with 2 adults and a 4 and 6 year old on one room (the smallest room available) and it was no big deal. We spent very little time in the room and there was space to store everything. In my mind, a larger room is a waste of money.

Our family always gets 2 hotel rooms for everyone's sanity; however, we recently all shared a room on a Disney cruise (verandah room) and it worked well. The two bathrooms and dividing curtain both helped a lot. I'd do it again.

We've done 1 room once (when 3rd/4th passengers were free!) and two adjoining rooms once. Perks to either. We really only use the room for sleep though.

Why would you even considering putting 4 people in a small room with 1 bed on a boat in the middle of the ocean. Sounds relaxing to me.

This. Any Disney cruise room for 4 ppl includes bunk beds. (Couch becomes lower bed and upper bed comes from the ceiling.)
We haven't gone yet but all your meals/activities are out of the room, so it's just for bathing and sleeping. And the Disney ones have split bathrooms, which helps.
We normally rent 2 br condos also but we are really excited about the cruise.

We never spend much time in the room for a cruise. We're a family of five and do one room. There are beds for everyone - they drop down from the ceiling. Key to success is keeping everything in its place so that it's not too cluttered or messy. But I will say that we have no problem sharing hotel rooms.

How do you room with 2 kids under 10 on a cruise? I can't stand 4 of us in a hotel room let alone a cruise room, even with a balcony. How do people do it. When we travel we always get a hotel with 2 bedrooms or we book a house or villa. We're thinking of a cruise with the kids, ages 6 and 9. I really don't want to stay with them in that small room. Plus is it just 1 bed? Only been on a cruise once when I was 20 and none of this stuff mattered to me, then.
