OP, how much of that 10lbs is fat? The more I run, the bigger my thighs get - and it's definitely muscle. I also gained about 5-10lbs since I started strength training. My clothes aren't tight, and I'm definitely leaner. Fitting back into your pre-training clothes is one thing, but don't get so hung up on the scale number.
You're right. 138 on 5'2 is simply because the op is athletic. Haha.

I will say, as a former overweight person, that your struggles of being 10lbs past your ideal weight for a grand total of 6 months may not be seen as a hardship, there will be people there who have been overweight and have deep seated emotional eating issues for years and years. You may just want to keep quiet about your origin story at first and be there for the tips and accountability more.
