Hawaii!! Just enough adventure for kids without being worried about safety/water/food poisoning. It was glorious. We did hiking, saw a bunch of different beaches, did water sports, and hung out at the pool. Our kids are 5 and 7 and we always did all inclusive resorts before, but I think Hawaii is much better as they get older bc it's a more active adventurous vacation.

I just got back from Tuscon and had a great time. The desert is really cool and there were a lot of hikes of different lengths--even some night hikes that were fun. Temps in the mid-80s and very sunny, with many of the cacti in bloom. Good Mexican food, and plenty of swimming pools. Plus the kid stuff that any city has--children's museum, laser tag, bumper boats, zoo, etc.

We spent 2 days at the Jellystone park in Luray. It's easy camping. They even have cabins. Great for multi generational "camping." I know some people on here probably think it's a hill billy place. The kids had so much fun! You don't even have to think. Kids just spend their day bouncing in the bouncy pillow. There's hiking, laser tag and a next door canopy zip line. We also found a geocache. And the caverns are nearby and the rope adventure climb next to it is a must-Fun.

The only thing we did was cook but you can avoid that if you just get pizza and be done with it.

We went to Williamsburg and had a great time. We only made it for the weekend and did Colonial Williamsburg one day and Jamestown the next. We are going back for Memorial day weekend to do Yorktown and Busch Gardens. We ate at Captain George's seafood buffet which was an experience as well. My kids couldn't believe they could eat as much crab legs and dessert as they wanted. My kids are 8 and 10.

6 yr and almost 9. We were at the Bahia Príncipe Coba. We love space and 2 bathrooms so we got 2 suites. It was a lot of room. You could stay in 1 suite. Coba was fantastic for family activities and is right next to another resort, Tulum. We've stayed there too and that's right on the beach, if waking up on the water is important to you. You can use everything at both and little trollies run back and forth. It's a 3 min ride to get to the beach from Coba. The food is just ok but these are our go to, easy vacations while the kids are still young. They are more affordable and nicer than the other "affordable" all inclusives we have been to.

We went to spring training in Florida and it was amazing!! We are a big baseball family so beach time and then going around to the various games was heaven.

As we're juggling childcare for our 8 year old twins for this coming Spring Break, we've decided that next year we're just going to take time off and take the kids on a trip. We're planning ahead so we can use points and miles so I'd love to hear everyone's ideas for great place to take 9 year olds over Spring Break -- warm weather, relaxing, some sightseeing and maybe a little bit of educational sites for the kids would be ideal. Thanks!
