LAMB's request to expand its enrollment cap was only submitted this month. Public comment will be accepted during the April meeting. The earliest DCPCSB can vote is their May meeting (and sometimes that is pushed back).

If PP is right and this is at all related to the Walter Reed space, they wouldn't be doing anything next fall. The space isn't going to be ready.

But it's LAMB, so who knows?

No magic necessary. The majority of the increase will come from a anticipated higher rate of retention of students in the upper grades due to the path to DCI.

As has been discussed on this board before, classes would be at the Missouri Avenue building, SD Avenue building and Walter Reed. It would be a pretty even division of students among the three buildings, though I the plan is for the SD building to have a slight plurality.

"In an effort to provide more high quality seats at a Montessori school in the District, LAMB PCS is requesting an increase in its enrollment ceiling from 400 to 650 students over the next ten years."

That would lead me to believe they are adding a new primary class this year. 15 PK3 + 15 pk4 = 30 this year, 15 "new" seats each of the ensuing years.
Or maybe they can magically open their school to other grades.
Or join the myschooldc lottery?
