16:02 hits many of the factors for admission @ all three schools, ranging from your DC's WPPSI scores and nursery report as well as how many siblings, legacies, etc might be applying at same time as your DC. An additional factor, which is also beyond your control, is luck. This is a numbers game as there are more applicants than slots. One school may take 24 kids for K, yet you DK if more than half of those slots might go to siblings or legacies. So you may be looking at 5 girl and 7 boy slots as opposed to 12 and 12 for a K class. While the odds are daunting, don't necessarily be deterred. Go to the open houses, talk to parents of currently enrolled kids, and, because it is a numbers game, expand your pool of schools if you believe that your local public is not your Plan B.

Funny, we also weren't admitted and didn't feel sad. In hindsight we shouldn't have continued with the application process. The entire process we didn't think it was a good fit for our family but I felt like we had to see it through. I felt zero disappointment when I checked the portal and saw we had not been admitted, especially since we had already found out we had been admitted to our first choice.

I don't know if it speaks to selectivity but we applied to all three for PreK. Results: admitted to Beauvoir, WL at GDS and not admitted to Sidwell. For what it's worth, we needed a generous FA package for it to be doable. Beauvoir's award met our need. I do wonder if we were full pay if out results at GDS and Sidwell would have been different. Of course, I have no way of knowing.

Going into the process I did feel like we had better odds at Beauvoir because of the number of children they admit. When you consider 20 spots and some will be filled by siblings, legacies, children of staff and faculty that does make it harder for those of us with no hooks. I would imagine with even those same spots being claimed it still leaves a decent number of spots for those with no hooks. The good thing, I think all three are excellent schools and anyone admitted to any of the three is fortunate. I know of a few who weren't admitted to any of the three, so I do think they are all selective.

Why do you care? You should look for the school that fits your child best.
Given your question, I think you would be happiest at the Beauvoir-NCS-Mean girls track.

They are all hard to get into. It depends upon the number of slots and the year you would be applying and your childs WPPSI scores and write up from pre- school. Beauvoir has more spots so, I would say your odds might be increased, but only for pre-k. They have 60 plus spots. Kindergarden is 20 plus spots all over and those spots are coveted by everyone. They all try to have equal classes for boys and girls. My advise is to apply for pre-k and don't wait for Kindergarden, because most of the spots could be promised to siblings and priority spots.
