Good point, although if you are in business class do you mind that much?

Is SoCal beach weather then? I think it's still a bit cold.

Hawaii is not a 7-9 hour flight. Is Greece? What about S. California?

Do you typically find mosquitos at the beach? Sand flies, yes... but not mosquitos, I don't think.

We were there in April one year and it was nice but not quite really beach weather (and FWIW they still considered it off-season).

OP here: Thanks everyone. Hawaii sounds amazing and Greece was on our list.

Not sure why you got such negative responses, OP.

I would probably look at Hawaii. There're some great beach options in Europe but I think April is too early for them.

You'd like a beach vacation with little chance of vacay? What does that even mean?

As long as you don't have stranger sex you are in the clear.

Please post in solid sentences next time. I can't comprehend text posting. I know it's cool hip and trendy but it comes across as no speaky English.

BTW, no one says vacay anymore. It's baby talk.

Hi ladies - Husband and I have the opportunity to travel in a month or so and I'd like a beach vacation with little/no chance of vacay. We are willing to travel overseas since we have bus. class tickets but probably no more than 7-9 hours.

Ideas?
