I am having trouble designing the rest of my kitchen around the backsplash tile I have finally found. DH and I were dead-set on finding Moroccan-inspired backsplash, and we finally did. The tile has arrived. It's beautiful but very, very statement-y, and I think the rest of the kitchen needs to be designed very carefully to highlight but not compete with it. Those of you with a great eye for design, can you help me? If not, what sort of expert help might I need?
What I sort of envisage: white shaker cabinets, light gray walls, quartz countertops in white/gray. Will that work?
Here is the tile. The overall backsplash square footage is 7.5 x 6 = 45 sq ft. It will be installed above the range and two cabinets flanking it all the way to the ceiling. There are no upper cabinets. Thanks for any great ideas.
