Not a Burke parent, but I do not see that as a problem in school. It is not about do-overs, but about learning the material. If you didn't learn it the fist time, I'd think it would be important to study again and learn it and show that you did so. School should be about learning, not just grades. I'd be upset if my child bombed a test and the school's attitude was "too bad for you we're moving on whether yo get it or not."
